I got into homelabbing because I wanted to actually understand how things work - not just use them. So I bought some used hardware and started breaking things. Now it's a proper three-node cluster that my whole household depends on.
No bootcamps, no guided courses. Just a problem, some docs, and enough stubbornness to get it working at 2am.
